Pretty Things

Aug. 20th, 2016 was an emotional adventure as The Tragically Hip played their last show here in their hometown of Kingston, ON. In honour of this and the outstanding strength of Gord we brewed a beer with love in our hearts and The Hip on full blast here in our downtown brewhouse, contracted the help of a talented graphic designer, Steve St. Pierre, to thoughtfully dream up artwork for the bottle label, t-shirts and posters. Profit from sales of these beautiful pieces wen to Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. We successfully raised $4500 on behalf of the Stone City Ales community.

The overwhelming outreasch we received, country wide, for access to these pieces was overwhelming - and heard!

With Gord's new project Secret Path we decided this would be a perfect time to put those t-shirts back out there. This time, profit from sales of Pretty Things t-shirts and posters will be donated to Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund; and both are available online here. The Fund operates out of the Toronto Foundation and focuses on cross-cultural education to support healing and recovery.
